ec4 Avoid the crunch. Dont get hit by Lifetime Health Cover. If you’re turning 31 – or you’re over 31 – and you don’t have hospital cover, the sooner you get health insurance, the less you’ll be impacted by Lifetime Health Cover. Here’s how it works: Under the Government’s Lifetime Health Cover scheme, you’ll get hit by a 2% loading for each year you wait to take out private hospital cover (after you turn 31). The earlier you take out private hospital cover the better; so it pays to consider taking out cover now.

For example: Hospital cover at age 31 may cost you $100 per month. Delay taking out the same hospital cover until age 40 and it will cost you $120 per month.

All HBA hospital covers will protect you from the Lifetime Health Cover loading on private health cover.

You cannot smoke it on the plane. You will get in big trouble

Only approved electronic devices can be used. Even then, only after takeoff when announced and not during landing.

I’m sure an electronic cigarette is NOT approved.

With those kind of smokes, they give you a card (like an ID) stating that you can smoke them anywhere because they don’t emit alot of smoke and you don’t like them.

  6. Da Monkey says:

Okay, I’m not going to chew you out for smoking, but I really don’t think you can smoke on an airplane, even if it IS electronic. I’m not really sure how electronic cigarettes work, but if it emits smoke, you can’t smoke it on a plane, even if they don’t confiscate it.

  7. Owen E says:

You are allowed to bring it on an airplane – no FAA regulation should prevent you from doing so.
But at this time I would urge you not to smoke it in your seat. Take it to the bathroom and join the Smoke High Club. :)

  8. Lake says:

I agree with owen E, but i heard some airlines don’t let you use them, but the in bathroom is a great idea.
